In June 2016 we organized the first fundraising through our lastminuteheroes.org platform for a private event to launch our foundation.For this first event we chose to support a reforestation project with Treedom,  in accordance with our idea of innovation for sustainable development.Donations of our heroes allowed us to plant a forest of 740 trees and we chose to reforest the area of Kisii in Kenya near Lake Victoria, on the border with Uganda. Our trees will be planted by a local NGO involving the communities in the area and they will take care of the forest.
