Since we began this project, 6,515 trees have been planted in various parts of the world.We have arrived at this result driven by three principal motivations: for the planet, for people, and for the generations of the future.For the planet, towards which everyone at Zignago Vetro feels a great responsibility, and which we hope will soon benefit from our forest: it is thanks to its trees that we will contribute to protecting biodiversity and reducing our emissions of CO2. For people, especially those who will take care of each new tree that we have planted and will plant in future: for them, they will be a source of income and sustenance. And, lastly, we hope that the new generations will be able to enjoy the positive effects of this large forest.With this initiative, we are seeking to put into effect our most important promise: to construct a better future for everyone, in the most tangible way possible.

ZIGNAGO VETRO FOREST

Zignago Vetro is an international company, founded in 1950 by Gaetano Marzotto. Thanks to its highly diversified, top-quality range, Zignago Vetro has become one of the leading companies in the sector of glass packaging, present both in the field of cosmetics and perfumery and in that of food and beverages.A constant feature of Zignago Vetro’s work is its management of the impact that the company has on the areas where its facilities are based. For this reason, it undertakes numerous concrete initiatives every year in order to promote a sustainable economy, as well as everyday activities that are oriented towards safeguarding the environment.One of these is the project it has launched together with Treedom and which has been operational for some years now, whereby the company has effectively planted a forest: as of today, this area of greenery includes 6,515 trees, and we trust that it will continue to grow even more in the future.
