La Semaine Paris Forest: Stronger Together

<p>La Semaine Paris, lifestyle brand with a French soul, has just launched its first 100% sustainable swimwear capsule collection and on the occasion, it has announced that 100 out of 200 of their trees have already been planted in Kenya, as their first step towards a greener, healthier and more sustainable world. The action taken by La Semaine Paris is part of a bigger, audacious plan, where more trees will be planted and whose final commitment is to be able to develop, in the near future, a more environmental friendly brand.<span style="box-sizing: inherit; display: block; height: 8px;"></span>Sensitive to women conditions worldwide and interested into supporting and improving the life conditions of women, La Semaine Paris starts from Kenya to give African population alternative income solutions deriving from agriculture. By planting a tree in Kenya, together with regenerating an ecosystem, La Semaine Paris supports the local women-led communities who dedicate themselves among others to the cultivation of trees. By taking care of the new planted trees, women in Kenya can self-maintain themselves, as well as improve the lifestyle conditions both for her-selves and for her families.<span style="box-sizing: inherit; display: block; height: 8px;"></span>For each of the purchase received, La Semaine Paris can plant a new tree and improve the life condition of a new woman as well as a new family. The more trees they plant, the closer they go toward a bigger wood and a healthier community they build together with their customers. Among the native tree species planted in Kenya, La Semaine Paris chooses baobab, mango, avocado, papaya, lemon, macadamia and African cherry trees in order to respect the biodiversity of the territory. The agroforestry practice also integrates the planting of trees in an agricultural system, favoring the virtuous interaction between the different species and a sustainable use of resources and land.<br></p>
