The Forest
Arriva Italia is at the forefront of promoting sustainable mobility, a critical and urgent challenge that can no longer be postponed. Sustainable public transportation is essential for reducing greenhouse gas emissions, creating a positive impact not only on the environment but also on communities.In line with this commitment, Arriva Italia has created the "Arriva Forest," making a concrete gesture for environmental protection by gifting trees to its employees. This project also represents a token of gratitude towards the people working in the company. Arriva wants to do its part to thank its customers, who by choosing public transportation every day, help reduce pollution compared to using private vehicles.
Impact
The trees we plant have big ambitions: to bring benefits not only to the environment, but also to the people who live in it. That's why we work with NGOs and local communities to select the right tree for the right place and the right purpose. That’s why we think about the medium and long term, because we’re not content with simply planting trees: we want to see them grow.
