The Forest
“The best time to plant a tree was 20 years ago. The second best time is now.”An aphorism often attributed to Confucius, sometimes generically identified as Chinese proverb, although in both cases there is no certainty.What we consider important is the message it conveys, which is why we decided to start the project of this forest to "give our contribution" to the environment absorbing CO2 and at the same time supporting local farmers by creating environmental, social and economic benefits.The trees planted by Treedom are intended for agroforestry projects that promote the virtuous interaction between different species and the sustainable use of land and resources.
Impact
The trees we plant have big ambitions: to bring benefits not only to the environment, but also to the people who live in it. That's why we work with NGOs and local communities to select the right tree for the right place and the right purpose. That’s why we think about the medium and long term, because we’re not content with simply planting trees: we want to see them grow.
