The Forest
In 2021, we launched the global reforestation initiative #TreesForOurPlanet, reinforcing our commitment to protecting the environment and securing a better future for generations to come. Since then, we’ve planted over 30,000 trees around the world—a milestone that marks just the beginning of our journey toward a greener planet. We want to keep growing our Grünenthal Forests, not only to restore ecosystems but also to create a lasting positive impact on local communities. With this goal in mind, our teams in Spain, Portugal, Ecuador, Colombia, and Peru have partnered with Treedom to plant 900 trees in Ecuador. This project goes beyond reforestation—it supports rural communities and fosters sustainable development, making a real difference where it’s needed most.
Impact
The trees we plant have big ambitions: to bring benefits not only to the environment, but also to the people who live in it. That's why we work with NGOs and local communities to select the right tree for the right place and the right purpose. That’s why we think about the medium and long term, because we’re not content with simply planting trees: we want to see them grow.
