The Forest
Every day, HR makes its contribution to successfully leading the company through transformation and developing it further. HR is a strategic consultant for employees, managers and business.This forest was created in 2021 on the occasion of one of the biggest changes in the company history of the former Daimler AG - the spin-off and thus independence of Daimler Truck AG. Like the many friendly connections that have developed and grown among HR colleagues during their time together at Daimler, this forest will remain for a long time to come - even business paths have parted.In the meantime, the forest stands for much more: for the sustainable positioning of HR, our mission, our aspiration and the why for everything we do: People are our business. We build the future.
Impact
The trees we plant have big ambitions: to bring benefits not only to the environment, but also to the people who live in it. That's why we work with NGOs and local communities to select the right tree for the right place and the right purpose. That’s why we think about the medium and long term, because we’re not content with simply planting trees: we want to see them grow.
