The Forest
La foresta Novartis Italia cresce con i suoi dipendenti: in occasione del Natale 2019, ogni collaboratore riceve un albero in dono dall'azienda, simbolicamente, che sarà poi piantato in varie parti del mondo. L'iniziativa natalizia si aggiunge alle attività aziendali improntate alla sostenibilità, nell'ambito di programmi come Energized for Life e One Green. Importanti risultati, a sostegno dell'ambiente, sono già stati raggiunti anche grazie all'introduzione dello smartworking, che consente ai collaboratori di evitare di raggiungere l'ufficio per il lavoro, con il conseguente risparmio in emissioni di CO2.
Impact
The trees we plant have big ambitions: to bring benefits not only to the environment, but also to the people who live in it. That's why we work with NGOs and local communities to select the right tree for the right place and the right purpose. That’s why we think about the medium and long term, because we’re not content with simply planting trees: we want to see them grow.
