The Forest
Nowruz is the new Persian Year and it's celebrated on the vernal equinox, even though the arragements start two weeks earlier.The most significant element is the tradition of Haft Sin (which means "seven"S" in Farsi); 7 kinds of food, considered fundamental for life, are arranged on a table all set up with extreme care and attention.Nowruz promotes values of peace and solidarity between generations and within families as well as reconciliation and neighbourliness, thus contributing to cultural diversity and friendship among peoples and different communities.This year we want to celebrate the new Persian Year giving a tree to each employee...Nowruz Moubarak!
Impact
The trees we plant have big ambitions: to bring benefits not only to the environment, but also to the people who live in it. That's why we work with NGOs and local communities to select the right tree for the right place and the right purpose. That’s why we think about the medium and long term, because we’re not content with simply planting trees: we want to see them grow.
