The Forest
With the TREEDOM project, SCREEN has created a forest that brings together beauty, social responsibility and environmental protection. Trees planted in Kenya and Italy involve local organizations committed to sustainable development, from reforestation to the support of farming communities. The SCREEN forest includes different species – such as avocado, macadamia, moringa, neem, banana, passion fruit, hazelnut, lentisk and wild olive – selected for their environmental, agricultural and social value. Through projects such as MKEC Embu, Africa IPM Alliance, Highlands Environment, Noccioli Tuscia and Ramarro Onlus, SCREEN helps generate concrete benefits: CO2 absorption, biodiversity protection and new economic opportunities for local communities. This forest represents the brand’s tangible commitment to a more sustainable future, where every tree is an investment in the planet and in the people who live on it.
Impact
The trees we plant have big ambitions: to bring benefits not only to the environment, but also to the people who live in it. That's why we work with NGOs and local communities to select the right tree for the right place and the right purpose. That’s why we think about the medium and long term, because we’re not content with simply planting trees: we want to see them grow.
The trees in the forest will absorb:
60.20 t* of CO₂
