The Forest
The Prindo forest not only serves as a habitant for various animal and plant species, but also binds approximately 226 tonnes CO2 over the next 10 years and contributes considerably to the climate protection.With treedom we finance and support crofters in Kenya with the care of the trees during the first 10 years until they bear fruit.treedom provides the crofters with the required know-how and offers technical support for the planting and the care of the trees.
Impact
The trees we plant have big ambitions: to bring benefits not only to the environment, but also to the people who live in it. That's why we work with NGOs and local communities to select the right tree for the right place and the right purpose. That’s why we think about the medium and long term, because we’re not content with simply planting trees: we want to see them grow.
