At World Cargo, we believe that sustainable action is the key to a thriving future. Inspired by this year’s COP29 theme, “Investing in a livable planet for all", we are proud to announce our renewed commitment to reducing our carbon footprint through the continuous expansion of the World Cargo Forest. This initiative reflects our dedication to environmental stewardship, fostering greener landscapes while offsetting emissions caused by global logistics. As UN Secretary-General António Guterres urged world leaders, it’s time to “Step up, pick up the pace, and deliver.” By investing in reforestation, we’re not just delivering cargo—we’re delivering on our promise to contribute to a healthier, more livable planet for all.
Impact
The trees we plant have big ambitions: to bring benefits not only to the environment, but also to the people who live in it. That's why we work with NGOs and local communities to select the right tree for the right place and the right purpose. That’s why we think about the medium and long term, because we’re not content with simply planting trees: we want to see them grow.
