UIA, together with OIC Group, Destination Florence Convention Bureau and Firenze Fiera, is organising the Round Table in Florence - 14th - 15th of November 2024.Participants will get a unique opportunity to learn and exchange from a panel of "G-locally" selected speakers: global reach with a local feel!The key message of the event will be "It's up to us": what we do and how we do it for the good of the environment, the local communities we interact with, the people we work with, and the world economy. All points of view will be considered: association, PCO, convention bureau, and event location.There will be a clear link to the UN SDGs, a link that will be emphasized and explained throughout the event. The theme "It's up to us" linked to the SDGs and the EU 2030 Agenda, will be the common denominator of the program.Associations have the power to drive change and turn theories into actions for the common good and the content of the UIA Round Table Europe 2024 will be focusing on the actions that can be taken.
Impact
The trees we plant have big ambitions: to bring benefits not only to the environment, but also to the people who live in it. That's why we work with NGOs and local communities to select the right tree for the right place and the right purpose. That’s why we think about the medium and long term, because we’re not content with simply planting trees: we want to see them grow.
