Avenza site, since March 2021 has become officially a Construction Plant, part of the GSC organization.Our energy technology helps industry advance on the path to net-zero and a sustainable energy future. We are investing today in the sustainable energy technology of tomorrow.We are growing Avenza Forest to celebrate Avenza Plant and to support the energy transition towards decarbonization; it is a gift for the colleagues and the stakeholders who are passionate partners for us and support the company values (Grow, Collaborate, Lead, Care). A tree is a growth relationship between Baker Hughes and the Planet.The sustainable benefits of the partnership Baker Hughes-Treedom are on environmental side, because of the CO2 absorbed by the agroforestry projects and on social side, related to the rural communities involved in our projects.
Impact
The trees we plant have big ambitions: to bring benefits not only to the environment, but also to the people who live in it. That's why we work with NGOs and local communities to select the right tree for the right place and the right purpose. That’s why we think about the medium and long term, because we’re not content with simply planting trees: we want to see them grow.
