The Forest
On the occasion of Christmas 2023, WINDTRE celebrates the many municipalities affiliated with the Borghi Connessi sustainability project by offering a forest in Nepal to communities and the environment. It thus contributes, in line with many other green initiatives, to environmental protection and the reduction of CO2 emissions.The Borghi Connessi initiative now includes many affiliated municipalities with the aim of bringing services and digital awareness even to the smallest territories and carrying out training interventions aimed at the elderly, children, local administrators and entrepreneurs. In continuity with its purpose, with Borghi Connessi, WINDTRE wants to eliminate any distance between people by making its contribution to reducing the digital divide and accompanying the growth of small Italian municipalities thanks to connectivity and smart technologies.In fact, the company believes that technology is the key not only to greater inclusion but also to improving the environment, health and quality of life of people.

The trees we plant have big ambitions: to bring benefits not only to the environment, but also to the people who live in it. That's why we work with NGOs and local communities to select the right tree for the right place and the right purpose. That’s why we think about the medium and long term, because we’re not content with simply planting trees: we want to see them grow.
