The Forest
What better way to celebrate Brembo's 60th birthday than planting a big forest?Brembo started up in 1961 as a small workshop just outside Bergamo (northern Italy) and over the years has expanded to become a global group and a benchmark for brake systems on high performance vehicles. None of this would have been possible without the work and passion of the people who have over the years become a part of the company. This forest of 14,000 trees is a gift to them and to every Brembo employee worldwide and represents the company's commitment to a more sustainable future that will benefit both the environment and local communities.
Impact
The trees we plant have big ambitions: to bring benefits not only to the environment, but also to the people who live in it. That's why we work with NGOs and local communities to select the right tree for the right place and the right purpose. That’s why we think about the medium and long term, because we’re not content with simply planting trees: we want to see them grow.
