The Forest
If we think about Christmas, we immagine a beautiful Christmas tree, cut from the wood to be decorated with many colourful balls. This year, OPT has decided to donate a tree for Christmas to many companies and people who collaborate with OPT. Not a cut tree, but a planted tree. OPT is sustaining the forestation activity of Treedom. Planting new trees allows to increase the absorption of carbon dioxide and fight against the climatic change and the impact of the green house effects. It allows to act against deforestation and improves the fertility of the soil. We wish you a Merry Christmas to those who will receive a tree as a gift and to our beloved Mother Earth!
Impact
The trees we plant have big ambitions: to bring benefits not only to the environment, but also to the people who live in it. That's why we work with NGOs and local communities to select the right tree for the right place and the right purpose. That’s why we think about the medium and long term, because we’re not content with simply planting trees: we want to see them grow.
