The Forest
Our forest is a tangible mark of the importance we give to health, people’s well-being, and commitment for the environment in our business. The first 200 trees, planted in Ghana, Cameroon, Kenya, Tanzania, Colombia, Madagascar, were given as an award to 200 employees who won 2 internal challenges that required the staff to score the greatest number of steps in three weeks, that took place between June and October 2022.Planting these trees meant not only providing concrete support for the environment, but also being able to contribute to the economic and social development of the local communities living in these territories. This project of great value has been linked to the regular promotion of sustainable initiatives, which will aim at the health and well-being of our employees, so we intend to make our forest grow larger in the upcoming months.
Impact
The trees we plant have big ambitions: to bring benefits not only to the environment, but also to the people who live in it. That's why we work with NGOs and local communities to select the right tree for the right place and the right purpose. That’s why we think about the medium and long term, because we’re not content with simply planting trees: we want to see them grow.
