The Forest
5 June is World Environment Day - the biggest international day dedicated to the environment. The United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) lead this day, which provides a global platform for inspiring positive change. This year’s theme, “Only One Earth”, is a reminder that this planet is our only home, and we must treat it as such.
At Deltatre, we bring sport and entertainment around the world to life. Working within these industries means that we are always looking ahead, and that’s why it couldn’t be more important to us as a company to support environmental and social initiatives, including sustainability.
For World Environment Day this year, we have worked with Treedom to plant 100 trees, capable of absorbing 11,100 KG of CO2. This initiative is a small part of an ongoing journey at Deltatre, as we have set out to meet the most ambitious targets to reduce our carbon emitting activities.

Impact
The trees we plant have big ambitions: to bring benefits not only to the environment, but also to the people who live in it. That's why we work with NGOs and local communities to select the right tree for the right place and the right purpose. That’s why we think about the medium and long term, because we’re not content with simply planting trees: we want to see them grow.
The trees in the forest will absorb:
11.10 t* of CO₂
