The Forest
Our forest is a tribute to paternity with a double meaning: a memorial to the founding fathers, Gilindo and Mario Meroni, who gave birth to the company sixty years ago, starting from a cellar in Brongio; the remembrance and gratitude of the President and CEO Maria Luisa to her father Gilindo. Furthermore, by choosing the name "fatherhood", we would like to celebrate paternity in general: the father is the head of the household, he passes on knowledge and traditions to the new generations. With our forest, therefore, we remember the past, but at the same time we give voice to our future which is represented by the third generation in the company, who will be able to carry on the project while respecting family values.
Impact
The trees we plant have big ambitions: to bring benefits not only to the environment, but also to the people who live in it. That's why we work with NGOs and local communities to select the right tree for the right place and the right purpose. That’s why we think about the medium and long term, because we’re not content with simply planting trees: we want to see them grow.
