The Forest
Giunti Editore, da anni attenta alle tematiche ambientali, ha deciso di legare la promozione dei propri volumi dedicati al mondo delle piante e dei fiori a un’iniziativa concreta finalizzata a limitare le emissioni di CO2: il progetto “Dillo con un albero, adottalo e guardalo crescere” ci vede impegnati a creare una foresta di 1000 alberi. I librai che aderiscono al nostro progetto ricevono un albero in dono, potranno così adottarlo e guardarlo crescere. I clienti finali, con il loro acquisto, avranno contribuito a questo progetto di riforestazione che produrrà benefici sociali, economici e ambientali in Camerun, Malawi e Kenya.
Impact
The trees we plant have big ambitions: to bring benefits not only to the environment, but also to the people who live in it. That's why we work with NGOs and local communities to select the right tree for the right place and the right purpose. That’s why we think about the medium and long term, because we’re not content with simply planting trees: we want to see them grow.
