Enel Global Power Generation is Enel's business line that handles the generation of energy from renewable sources - through Enel Green Power - and from conventional sources.Global Power Generation took the decision to plant 3,000 trees in Colombia, Guatemala and Kenya, dedicating the forest to its extensive professional family spread across all five continents. Each tree, with its social, economic and environmental impact, reaffirms GPG's determination to leave a "green footprint" towards ever more sustainable growth.
Impact
The trees we plant have big ambitions: to bring benefits not only to the environment, but also to the people who live in it. That's why we work with NGOs and local communities to select the right tree for the right place and the right purpose. That’s why we think about the medium and long term, because we’re not content with simply planting trees: we want to see them grow.
