The Forest
For the 40th anniversary of IPM ESSEN, the IPM ESSEN WALD is being created in collaboration with all exhibitors. Amidst the impressive array of plants and the latest developments in the industry, this forest places the urgent issues of climate change and sustainability at its core. The establishment of this forest serves as a clear symbol of unity, responsible action, and our commitment to offsetting CO2 emissions. However, our intention extends beyond the expo: We aim not only to inspire our exhibitors but also to establish a long-term symbol of collective efforts in the fight against climate change and for a sustainable future.
Impact
The trees we plant have big ambitions: to bring benefits not only to the environment, but also to the people who live in it. That's why we work with NGOs and local communities to select the right tree for the right place and the right purpose. That’s why we think about the medium and long term, because we’re not content with simply planting trees: we want to see them grow.
