The Forest
With the aim of making a small contribution to a more sustainable world, IRCA Group has chosen to plant over 700 trees and give them to employees and is also committed to donating a tree for each new hire. The IRCA Group forest plants are a small step to strengthen local ecosystems and will also absorb CO2 naturally, generating a benefit for the entire planet. The tree species that we have chosen, including the cocoa plant that is the basis of many of our products, will be planted respecting the biodiversity of the different territories trying to integrate the planting of trees in the agricultural system, promoting the virtuous interaction between the different species and a sustainable use of resources and land.
Impact
The trees we plant have big ambitions: to bring benefits not only to the environment, but also to the people who live in it. That's why we work with NGOs and local communities to select the right tree for the right place and the right purpose. That’s why we think about the medium and long term, because we’re not content with simply planting trees: we want to see them grow.
