The Forest
Gaia: the first Kapriol forest is born. On the occasion of the ninety-five years of history, we wanted to contribute to the project of a greener future in order to raise awareness of collaborators and customers. One goal, one mission, one ambition: by the end of the year we will plant 400 trees, which will be given to our employees for an increasingly eco-sustainable future. A gift that aims to enhance and protect the environment by encouraging the development of local communities that will take care of the selection and growth of the trees themselves.Gaia, mother of the Earth, female figure of Greek mythology and always depicted emerging from the ground: a name that perfectly matches our philosophy and that marks the beginning of a project that will see all personally involved. In Kapriol each person is a precious asset, just as a tree is a resource for the planet.
Impact
The trees we plant have big ambitions: to bring benefits not only to the environment, but also to the people who live in it. That's why we work with NGOs and local communities to select the right tree for the right place and the right purpose. That’s why we think about the medium and long term, because we’re not content with simply planting trees: we want to see them grow.
