The Forest
MeC the Change 2022 is our first forest, it is the story of our company and of those who have been part of it.
In the Decade of Action leading us to 2030 we are all called to collaborate and create a responsible impact on our territory, on our Earth.
Among the social and environmental initiatives undertaken by MeC in recent years, the planting of a forest was one of the most stimulating projects, which allowed us to protect and restore biodiversity in various international areas through the planting of 300 trees.
Trees that we wanted to treat in a more metaphorical sense, giving them a name and a story.
The trees are in fact the ones who made MeC what it is today.
The trees represent the MeC stakeholders: management, employees, customers, suppliers, business networks, associations, partners.
Trees are the roots and history of the MeC forest.
Impact
The trees we plant have big ambitions: to bring benefits not only to the environment, but also to the people who live in it. That's why we work with NGOs and local communities to select the right tree for the right place and the right purpose. That’s why we think about the medium and long term, because we’re not content with simply planting trees: we want to see them grow.
