While climate risk is top of mind every day, Earth Day is an opportunity to focus on it together. This year’s global Earth Day theme is investment -- and Orrick is going to support it by investing in planting hundreds of trees around the world. Each tree we plant will be in honor of a member of Team Orrick celebrating their 20th anniversary this year – or a staff member who wins an Encore Award. These team members are exemplars of sustainable careers – and of the excellence that will sustain our firm into the future.
Impact
The trees we plant have big ambitions: to bring benefits not only to the environment, but also to the people who live in it. That's why we work with NGOs and local communities to select the right tree for the right place and the right purpose. That’s why we think about the medium and long term, because we’re not content with simply planting trees: we want to see them grow.
