The Forest
SIXT follows the guiding principle of sustainable development and aims to continuously reduce the CO2 emissions of its fleet. The entire fleet is state-of-the-art in terms of resource efficiency, CO2 emissions and safety. The number of electric and hybrid vehicles is steadily increasing. SIXT has also established the SIXTainability initiative, which supports employees in implementing various aspects of sustainability. The focus is on ecological responsibility, resource conservation and management, and climate protection. That is why we also give our customers a piece of sustainability along the way.
Impact
The trees we plant have big ambitions: to bring benefits not only to the environment, but also to the people who live in it. That's why we work with NGOs and local communities to select the right tree for the right place and the right purpose. That’s why we think about the medium and long term, because we’re not content with simply planting trees: we want to see them grow.
