The Forest
In line with our interest in environmental sustainability, we are growing trees together with Treedom to cultivate the future. Today they are seedlings, but tomorrow our trees will provide food, shelter, and income opportunities, as well as help remove CO2 from the atmosphere. Planting trees in cultivated land, entrusting them to local farmers, is a solution that brings multiple benefits, from increased biodiversity to reduced erosion and soil enrichment. Local communities care for trees over time, develop new skills, and build a future that is as environmentally sustainable as it is economically. That is why growing trees today means cultivating tomorrow.
Impact
The trees we plant have big ambitions: to bring benefits not only to the environment, but also to the people who live in it. That's why we work with NGOs and local communities to select the right tree for the right place and the right purpose. That’s why we think about the medium and long term, because we’re not content with simply planting trees: we want to see them grow.
