Dear Partners and Colleagues,The celebration of a New Year usually comes with resolutions on how to do better – for ourselves, our loved ones, society as a whole.
In 2021 we all continued experiencing unprecedented challenges, as both individuals and inhabitants of our beleaguered planet. So, at Sunlight Group, we feel the need to help nature take a breather.
Expanding the tree planting project we run in Greece via the "Green Mission" initiative, we want to reach places that may be far in distance, yet close to our hearts. Thanks to our partner "Treedom," we are creating our very own Sunlight Group Forest, putting down roots in Kenya, Tanzania, Colombia, and Nepal.
The Sunlight Group Forest will plant fruit trees across all of these locations. And along with our warmest wishes for 2022, we’d like to offer you a tree of your choice in our Forest!You can watch it grow and thrive, with the hope that we all reap the fruits of a greener and healthier planet!
Impact
The trees we plant have big ambitions: to bring benefits not only to the environment, but also to the people who live in it. That's why we work with NGOs and local communities to select the right tree for the right place and the right purpose. That’s why we think about the medium and long term, because we’re not content with simply planting trees: we want to see them grow.
