The Forest
In hard times we see what is truly important. This year we have once again faced many challenges, ranging from COVID still getting in the way of our daily work to climate disasters occurring all over the world. More than ever, this has highlighted the significance of thinking forward, acting ahead. As an organisation we are committed to investing in the future with our sustainability strategy. As the year 2021 comes to an end, in addition to our commitments, we would like to take the chance to say thank you and at the same time take another step in the right direction. With our first Treedom forest we are thinking forward, planting ahead to ensure a better world for future generations, while at the same time supporting small farmers with agroforestry projects.
Impact
The trees we plant have big ambitions: to bring benefits not only to the environment, but also to the people who live in it. That's why we work with NGOs and local communities to select the right tree for the right place and the right purpose. That’s why we think about the medium and long term, because we’re not content with simply planting trees: we want to see them grow.
