The Forest
This year, TIC Council has decided to gift the participants of its annual summit with a tree.Our approach to environmental and social issues is becoming increasingly integrated in the work we do across the sector and the regions where our members are present. Our annual summit, focused on the best practices to ensure sustainability in supply chains, will be a perfect window to show the TIC sector’s contribution to making the world more responsible. For this occasion, we decided to actively involve our members and our guests by planting 200 trees and building the first TIC forest.
Impact
The trees we plant have big ambitions: to bring benefits not only to the environment, but also to the people who live in it. That's why we work with NGOs and local communities to select the right tree for the right place and the right purpose. That’s why we think about the medium and long term, because we’re not content with simply planting trees: we want to see them grow.
