Today, the FOPE sustainability objectives are widening in order to deepen the understanding of our environmental impact, starting from 2018.And if on one hand, solar panels are on the way to being implemented in the headquarter, and new responsible business policies have almost been completed, on the other hand the company is launching a green initiative aimed at neutralising its CO2 emissions. A first group of trees will be planted in Kenya to support reforestation on a small scale among small farmers, by encouraging their active participation. Nevertheless, the basis of any virtuous behavior is sharing and informing. That’s why FOPE has decided to raise awareness and sensitise its costumers, donating a tree to everyone who buys or gives away a FOPE jewel during some international events. A card with all the information related to #AtreeForAJewel initiative will be included in the shopping bag, together with the jewel and the guarantee.And if “beauty” is strictly related to “awareness”, FOPE calls for wearing the made in Italy luxury and taking action: a little can make quite a difference!
Impact
The trees we plant have big ambitions: to bring benefits not only to the environment, but also to the people who live in it. That's why we work with NGOs and local communities to select the right tree for the right place and the right purpose. That’s why we think about the medium and long term, because we’re not content with simply planting trees: we want to see them grow.
