The Forest
For over 20 years, we at UniClub have wanted to Give the Gift of Smiles, to people and to the planet.We care about preserving nature, which is why year after year we try to reduce paper waste and print our Awards Catalog and all other printed materials in limited quantities, trying to encourage digital reading.We choose recycled paper or paper from PEFC-certified forests, and on a daily basis we give new life to the cartons we already use, shredding them and making them a useful material to replace plastic in shockproof packaging. In addition to reducing waste, we are committed to completely eliminating plastic from our packaging: to do so, we use "Friend of the Environment" paper tape, a valuable ally in carefully packaging our customers' prizes without being harmful to the planet.Starting in 2023, on the occasion of UniClub's 20th Anniversary, our commitment is growing. Through our partnership with Treedom and with the support of our users, we want to make our contribution to the reforestation of the planet by creating the first Forest of Smiles.
Impact
The trees we plant have big ambitions: to bring benefits not only to the environment, but also to the people who live in it. That's why we work with NGOs and local communities to select the right tree for the right place and the right purpose. That’s why we think about the medium and long term, because we’re not content with simply planting trees: we want to see them grow.
