The Forest
L'idea di piantare questa foresta è nata dal desiderio di voler compensare le emissioni di CO2 prodotte durante 5 mesi di viaggio in van da Milano fino a Capo Nord. L'obiettivo era quello di piantare abbastanza alberi per compensare le emissioni prodotte nell'arco di un solo anno.
Grazie a tutti quelli che ci hanno sostenuto con le loro donazioni ce l'abbiamo fatta!
Con questi 13 baobab riusciremo a compensare le 3,7 ton di CO2 prodotte!
Tutto questo solo grazie a voi.
Ma la foresta non finisce qui, continuerà a vivere e ad assorbire altra CO2 oltre quella da noi prodotta; inoltre, chiunque potrà partecipare piantando un alberello e dando il suo contributo per aiutarci a diminuire l'impatto ambientale dei nostri viaggi!
Impact
The trees we plant have big ambitions: to bring benefits not only to the environment, but also to the people who live in it. That's why we work with NGOs and local communities to select the right tree for the right place and the right purpose. That’s why we think about the medium and long term, because we’re not content with simply planting trees: we want to see them grow.
