The Forest
La Colombia offre davvero di tutto: montagne, spiagge, isole tropicali e foreste pluviali. Ed è proprio per contribuire alla salvaguardia di questa biodiversità che, con Treedom, Viaggigiovani.it ha fatto piantare 2.000 alberi nel Paese. I benefici saranno svariati, come l'assorbimento di 615,50 tonnellate di CO₂. Ma i vantaggi non saranno solo ambientali.
Le comunità locali, infatti, trarranno giovamento diretto dagli alberi in termini di risorse alimentari ed opportunità economiche.
Impact
The trees we plant have big ambitions: to bring benefits not only to the environment, but also to the people who live in it. That's why we work with NGOs and local communities to select the right tree for the right place and the right purpose. That’s why we think about the medium and long term, because we’re not content with simply planting trees: we want to see them grow.
