The Forest
WMF - We Make Future is an International Trade Fair and Festival on Tech and Digital Innovation. WMF was born from an ambitious idea: to create an open, inclusive and collective tool that can positively impact society thanks to the contribution of every single person and reality. The Festival's commitment is to give life, day after day, to a future under the banner of education, employment and innovation, a mission that only thanks to the support of our community we are able to achieve. Among the 12 Future Challenges identified by the WMF, the most urgent to create a shared, inclusive and environmentally sustainable tomorrow is the Future of Life on Planet Earth, in which innovation plays a key role in addressing global challenges and creating a better world for future generations. The WMF, through its partnership with Treedom, is committed to birthing and advancing a Forest, which will help in making the world a greener and healthier place.
Impact
The trees we plant have big ambitions: to bring benefits not only to the environment, but also to the people who live in it. That's why we work with NGOs and local communities to select the right tree for the right place and the right purpose. That’s why we think about the medium and long term, because we’re not content with simply planting trees: we want to see them grow.
