As an organisation striving for responsible behaviour, the World Employment Confederation - the organisation behind the World Employment Conference 2023 - is committed to strengthen its engagement towards sustainability, diversity and inclusion and innovation. Planting trees with Treedom means helping to make our planet greener and fairer! For each participant registered to the World Employment Conference 2023, the World Employment Confederation is planting one tree in an agroforestry project in Cameroon that will bring environmental and social benefits to the communities of smallholders involved. That’s one small step for the planet, one giant leap for the local communities!
Impact
The trees we plant have big ambitions: to bring benefits not only to the environment, but also to the people who live in it. That's why we work with NGOs and local communities to select the right tree for the right place and the right purpose. That’s why we think about the medium and long term, because we’re not content with simply planting trees: we want to see them grow.
