In order to welcome every child residing in the City of Pietrasanta born during 2022, the Councillorship to Kindness together with the Councillorship to the Environment will contribute to plant a tree with Treedom in Kenya. Therefore, it is not just an ordinary gift, but something that could accompany a child during his/her growth path, which could open his/her horizons, bring him/her closer to distant realities, and inspire him/her for small and large adventures: a little, great gesture, that will allow to create environmental, social and economic benefits. The seedling, in fact, will grow together with the child, who will receive periodic information on the health status of his/her sapling and on the advantages it will bring to the environment by absorbing CO2, and to the local community of reference, which will take care of it. After all, the man and the tree have been always having intertwined roots: as a human being, it is born, grows, contributes to produce flowers and fruits. The tree is life, it is seed, it is air, it is the breath of the Earth.<o:p></o:p>

PIETRASANTA crescere insieme

Pietrasanta, the historic capital of Versilia, in the land of Tuscany, is a real center of creativity: both&nbsp; for its landscape resources - since its area extends between the sea and the white Apuan Alps from which is extracted the precious marble, which, over the centuries, generations of sculptors have been able to translate into artworks that enrich streets, squares, public and private buildings all over the world - and for its resources tight to a skilled tradition of artistic workmanship, primarily marble, but also bronze and mosaic. Today Pietrasanta, with its 24 thousand of residents, represents a pole of lively artistic production like few others, counting dozens of sculptural ateliers and eight foundries, a community of over three hundred and fifty international artists working in the territory. But Pietrasanta is not only art but also a beach of fine sand, with beach resorts equipped to enjoy sun and sea bathing, accommodation facilities of warm Tuscan hospitality, fresh pine forests and evocative hilly views.<o:p></o:p>
