Urbact BiodiverCity is an international project in which Siena participates together with 9 other European cities. Nature is the focus of sustainable development for the design of cities.</p>

BiodiverCity Siena

<p>Siena Municipality has been implementing&nbsp;a strategy of interventionsto enhance the valorisation and participatory management of urban green areas, with a focus on biodiversity and on organisation of sustainable events and activities. It takes part as partner in European and national projects along these lines, including BiodiverCity, part of the URBACT European programme. &nbsp;</p>
