In 2018, we, the Group Sustainability department, created this forest as a part of our season’s greetings. Every greeting card comes along with a share of this forest and thereby contributes to forestation.

Season's Greetings 2018

Global developments like climate change, demographic changes or the ongoing digitalisation pose a significant challenge to the economic system. The transformation towards a future-proof value creation is indispensable for the consequent realization of the Sustainable Development Goals and the implementation of the Paris Agreement and comes along with a high financing need.

It is the central responsibility of the finance sector in close cooperation with the real economy, politics and society, to create an infrastructure for sustainable investment strategies and to ensure the stability and future viability of financial markets through medium- and long-term opportunity and risk models.

Deutsche Börse Group takes this responsibility seriously by implementing a company-wide Sustainable Finance strategy. Internal initiatives focus on the continuous development of the sustainable product- and service-portfolio. Through close cooperation with numerous external stakeholders, Deutsche Börse Group consequently fosters the extension of transparent, integer and stable capital market structures.
