Our company keeps following its vision in terms of environmental and social sustainability, in cooperation with Treedom. The plantation of 300 new trees will be an occasion to celebrate our 10th forest, for a total amount of 1940 trees in 10 countries, as well as the arrival of the 5th Dolci generation in our family’s company. This is the reason why our new project was named Five Generation, in order to welcome Ilaria in her new role in the company, hoping that her younger sisters Annachiara and Alice will develop the same skills and wishes that will keep alive our story, which began 115 years ago: balance between past and future, in order to bring innovation into tradition. We hope new generations will keep on growing in the best way possible, as well as our trees do.

Five Generation

The Dolci company was founded in 1910 and the difficult job of selection, production and working of earth colours and pigments that are so important in the field of art and restoration has been passed on through four generations.The natural earths are known for their unique tonalities, their qualities of semi-transparency and for the peculiar characteristic that they can be used with a wide range of carriers (oils, wax, natural and artificial resins, lime etc.)The necessity to obtain the colour results of the past and the care in the use of natural and ecological products has induced the Dolci company to re-discover ancient procedures and to create slakedlime, marmorino, intonachino and dyes made of lime, earths and casein. This tradition of ours is in extremely high demand from our Italian and international clients, with a very strong and continuously growing export market. The Dolci company works earths, pigments, limes, wax, resins and colourings with precision and passion, dedicating more and more time to the finding and the selection of original materials.The Dolci company has a very strong ecological commitment both in the production of colours with a low environmental impact and in energy saving.
