Happy birthday, Ferriera Valsider! Valsider has always been committed to sustainability and to the continuous innovation of its production processes.In 2021,Valsider celebrates the 20th anniversary of its foundation by involving its employees in the creation of its first Company forest. By planting 200 trees, the company aims at promoting an agroforestry project to protect the environment and support small local farmers and their families. The Valsider Forest thus will represent a further tangible demonstration of the company's commitment to the environment and its trees, that employees can follow in their growth, will become brand ambassadors bringing at the same time social and economic benefits to local communities.

Ferriera Valsider Spa is a steel industry of Metinvest Group founded in July 2001, specialised in the production of steel plates and hot-rolled coils. Together with Metinvest Trametal and Spartan UK, it is part of the European Rerolling Business Unit of Metinvest Holding.The company is located in Vallese di Oppeano, in the province of Verona, and has a production capacity of 4k tonnes of steel plates and 6k tonnes of coils per year. These products are used in several industrial sectors, including building construction, bridges, ships, industrial machinery, wind turbines, boilers, as well as medium-diameter pipes and fittings.
