Let's start with introductions
An Albizia is an impressive sight. These trees can reach a height of up to 35 metres, with the trunk being completely free of branches for around 20 metres. Only far above do you then get the wide and expansive, dome-shaped crown of the tree. The Albizia is widespread from the Ivory Coast to southern Sudan, Ethiopia and Kenya. It is valued here not only for its wood, but also as a medicine.
