Sustainability is a top priority at FUCHS. We aim to create sustainable
value through our corporate activity – for our customers, our employees and society.

As part of our CO2 neutrality strategy, FUCHS supports six climate protection projects that are certified according to internationally recognized standards. One of these projects is a reforestation project in Mexico. Not at least for this reason, the establishment of a FUCHS forest fits perfectly into our plan to further advance our activities in the field of climate protection.

FUCHS PETROLUB SE

The FUCHS Group develops, produces and markets high-grade lubricants
and related specialties for virtually all industries and areas of application.
Formed in Mannheim in 1931, the Group employs almost 6,000 people
worldwide at 62 operating companies. FUCHS is the world’s largest independent
lubricant manufacturer.

Lubricants – FUCHS’ core business – already embody sustainability in many respects. Lubricants do the job of reducing friction, wear and corrosion in machinery and gear boxes as well as in state-of-the-art high-speed trains, and in wind turbines and hydroelectric plants. And less friction means less energy used, which in turn also reduces emissions. 

FUCHS lubricants help users save fuel and decrease oil consumption, for instance. Certain lubricants can even provide lubrication throughout a machine's entire life cycle. Our lubricants contribute to making complex processes more efficient, which shrinks our customers’ carbon footprint significantly. This means our lubricants play a vital role in making industry more sustainable and climate-friendly.&nbsp;
