Jelu Green Space

JELU is the Junior Enterprise of the LUISS Guido Carli University: a non-profit, university-based consulting company operating throughout the country. Since 2016, the year of its foundation, JELU has been offering services in the field of strategic-financial consultancy, marketing and communication to small-medium enterprises (SMEs), startups and individuals. The Junior is part of the realities of JE Italy, JE Europe and JE Global, which respectively constitute the networks of Italian, European and world Junior Enterprises. They meet the main objective of encouraging the learning of their associates through the "learning by doing" methodology, which is achieved through the acquisition of functional skills in the world of work - through the completion of corporate projects that target clients to Juniors Enterprise - and internal student training. JELU also boasts numerous partnerships and collaborations, including Amaris, PwC, Ateneo Impresa and Bluebee, established in order to increase the visibility of the Association and expand the network. In 2020, at the Italian Excellence Awards,JELU achieved the first prize in the category
“Sustainable Development” thanks to which not only the
dedication and the intense work carried out daily by the members, but also their commitment
in network expansion and sustainable growth. This result is of great significance as
the Excellence Awards represent the highest recognition that JE Italy bestows on Juniors
Italian enterprises, and is therefore the first goal for JELU towards even more future growth
inspired by the values ​​of sustainability.
JELU's mission is to bridge the gap between university and work skills for
its associates, creating the conditions for a stimulating professional growth path. At the end
in fact, most of the students possess exclusively
theoretical skills, applied in practice only in limited contexts. Consequently, entering the
world of work, they do not have the adequate tools to enhance, in a scenario
company, the knowledge acquired during their studies.
In order to offer a constructive contribution in this situation, JELU allows associates to compete
with real business projects to be completed, and constantly confronted with new challenges that
are placed within their own area and in cross-functional projects, allowing them to
develop problem solving skills, team working and make learning tools their own
practical. In this way, the associates have the opportunity to acquire an entrepreneurial perspective,
get concrete training, enrich their academic experiences and expand their network
with other young entrepreneurs in national and international universities.
In conclusion, it can be said that JELU also generates unique value for its customers, which
they can collaborate together with students and get a personalized service as they are closer to
university world, a factor that differentiates Junior Enterprises from other consulting firms,
large and small.
