Since its foundation in 1865, Zenith Watches became the first watch manufacture through the unification of the expertise and production techniques as set out by its founder Georges Favre-Jacot. Zenith has been able to make formidable advances in chronometric precision, reliability and innovation. Zenith is the Future Swiss of Watchmaking.The future can only be green. Zenith has made day-to-day changes to ensure a more sustainable, environmentally conscious operation for the manufacture and its surroundings. Undertaken several actions including a mobility program that promotes the use of public transport and ride sharing. Zenith is also committed to reduce its use of plastic, from the packaging of its watches to single-use plastics in everything from production to drinking water fountains. As far as efficiency, the Zenith manufactures relies on renewable energy sources, and has even become an energy provider for the watchmaking town of Le Locle.“One to TREE” is an LVMH intrapreneurial initiative, Zenith works with the project team to encourage turning the art of gifting into an act of giving.
Impact
The trees we plant have big ambitions: to bring benefits not only to the environment, but also to the people who live in it. That's why we work with NGOs and local communities to select the right tree for the right place and the right purpose. That’s why we think about the medium and long term, because we’re not content with simply planting trees: we want to see them grow.
