PlanetWatch

Planetwatch decentralizes and incentivizes environmental monitoring.&nbsp;We leverage advanced technologies and the direct engagement of the population to improve environmental monitoring worldwide and help protect public health.&nbsp;We are currently building a global network of outdoor air quality sensors. Some sensors are installed and managed by local residents, with additional sensors being installed by PlanetWatch in partnership with companies and local authorities.&nbsp;This approach allows us to rapidly deploy low-cost, high-density air quality monitoring networks which fill a data gap in governmental networks.&nbsp; Sensor data is recorded on the Algorand blockchain, building the first global, tamper-proof air quality ledger.&nbsp;All sensors streaming valid data to PlanetWatch earn PLANETS token rewards.
