The Forest
We as plistarians believe that "sustainability" is more than just a buzzword. Our goal is to greatly reduce our plista carbon footprint and support environmentalism with the initiative of taking action and educating our peers on how they can help. Therefore, we want to support the Vohiday forest in Madagascar, which promotes the effort of creating an integrated agroforestry system. Partnering with Tsyriparma, we will plant 150 trees, which will offer a promising biodiversity while offering farmers within the communities to benefit from various crops, such as corn, cauliflower, and beans during the season.
Impact
The trees we plant have big ambitions: to bring benefits not only to the environment, but also to the people who live in it. That's why we work with NGOs and local communities to select the right tree for the right place and the right purpose. That’s why we think about the medium and long term, because we’re not content with simply planting trees: we want to see them grow.
