However activities such as the transportation of luggage and travelling to Italy from overseas, usually by plane, do cause pollution.</div>
<p>Consequently, Salento Bici Tour/ I Slow You has decided to compensate the emissions generated by transport, and invite its customers to take part in this initiative, so that traveling by bike can really be &ldquo;zero-emission travels&rdquo;.</p>

<div>Slow You is an organisation dealing with 'active tourism' in Apulia and its surroundings. We were born as a non-profit organisation with the aim of promoting sustainable mobility and environmental education. We work with &nbsp;schools, local administrations and other associations in order to develop a critical consciousness of the territory and to protect it from any harm. Then, we set up a tour operator called I Slow You, whose main activity is bike tourism. We also offer other activities such as canoeing, sailing, climbing, diving, horse riding, trekking, etc.</div>
